So, it's the second snow day in the same week and I'm done.  It's not so bad if it snows overnight and then clears up during the day--it give us a chance to shovel and plow the roads--but an all day event worries me.  Luckily, I am taking the afternoon off before the snow worsens this afternoon.

It's all over the news here is Southeastern PA that it's been 715 days since our last memorable snow fall, and we are supposed to get abour two inches of snow tonight into tomorrow and people are losing their minds.  Personally, I'd be happy if we never had to deal with the white stuff ever again--sure it's pretty, but I HATE having to shovel it ( Read more... )

Well I am back from my vacation and now it's almost time for Halloween :):)

I know I've complained before about covering the hated job but I need to vent!  Everyone deserves a vacation but it's difficult to cover this job when you have so many exceptions to practically every customer--DAMN!!  Tomorrow is Day 6 of seven days coveriing--I can see the finish line, I just have to get through tomorrow!!!  :):)

So we just have a couple of weeks in Lent left and I am massively looking forward to Easter and springtime weather :):)

So, my work place has officially given out the notice that they want us all back in the office June 1st, the Tuesday after Memorial Day.  The majority of us have been working from home/going in part time since the end of March 2020.  I think it will be good to be back, simply to get my filing back under control :)

So, despite the massive amount of snow we've received here in PA, Punxsutawney Phil still saw his shadow--damn, I need an early spring!

I hope everyone had an awesome New Year's Eve and may 2021 be a better year for us all :):)

And now for comething completely crazy, Philadelphia's Mummer's Day parade has been cancelled this year, but one of our local Philadelphia stations is showing past highlights from old Mummer's Day Parades--DAMN!!
